Our founder
Tamar Lee
A former federal defendant who successfully challenged her conviction and secured a jury acquittal — and who now spends her working life helping other people do what she did.
She was told, by nearly everyone, that she should give up and plead guilty.
She did not. She challenged her conviction instead, and she went to trial. A jury acquitted her.
That experience is the whole foundation of Prison Titans Consulting. Having lived inside the system — the filings, the procedural rules, the deadlines that arrive whether or not you were ready, the pressure to accept a plea and move on — she understands the position her clients are in in a way that is difficult to learn from the outside.
She now uses it. Prison Titans Consulting provides case analysis, legal research support, pro se litigation guidance, and strategic consulting to individuals navigating the criminal justice system across the country.
She also coaches people who are defending themselves without an attorney. Under her guidance, clients have gone to trial against the odds and come away with not guilty verdicts — after being told the case was hopeless and that pleading was the only sensible path.
She also works quietly alongside families who already have an attorney, reviewing what has been filed and making sure nothing is being missed — so that a family can ask informed questions and know the case is being worked the way it deserves to be worked.
Justice favors the prepared.

What that means for the person who calls us
You will not be talked down to
You are living through this, so we explain the process in plain language — what a filing does, why a deadline matters, what the other side is trying to accomplish.
You will hear the truth
That includes hearing when something is difficult. You are better served by an honest read of where your case stands than by reassurance that does not hold up.
You will not be left guessing
You should always know what is happening next and what is being worked on. Nobody should have to chase the person helping them.
